Future Plans
Site's hardware moving. When Cornell has an official web video site installed (sorry, I don't have many details), this site will be relocated to a server in a basement. Pertinent links will remain, but a live image from the current location will not be possible. This "two week" project may finally draw to a close!
Known Problems
Problems getting close-up images? You're not alone! I've received e-mail from folks saying that only part of the page downloads (therefore, no HTML closure tags, of course.) I've seen it happen once, and I can't figure out what's wrong. I've successfully downloaded the whole page, with images, on several Macs and PC's (Win95 and WinNT), both using Netscape and Explorer. If you think you know how to fix the problem, please write me!
Streaming video not working? Most folks are successfully viewing the live video feed, but it doesn't update automatically for some. Common denominator: Using Microsoft's Explorer on a PC. Possible fixes: Try viewing the page in Netscape, or use a non-PC, such as a Macintosh.
Note that the current camera location (7th floor of Olin Library) enjoys the closest indoor view of the pumpkin.
